Terms of Use
Effective November 4, 2026. Last updated November 4, 2026.
These terms cover the Sappari app and Sappari Pro. The short version: you decide what gets deleted, Apple handles every payment, and you can cancel any time in your Apple ID settings.
The agreement
Sappari is provided by Duy Bui, an individual developer based in Vietnam ("we", "us"). By downloading or using Sappari you agree to these terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"), which applies to Sappari in full. These terms add to the Standard EULA; if the two conflict, the Standard EULA wins. Our Privacy Policy explains how data is handled.
What Sappari does
Sappari helps you find photos and videos you may want to remove, such as near-identical frames around photos you marked as favorites, blurry shots, old screenshots and large videos, and it can compress videos and turn Live Photos into stills. Everything it shows is a suggestion. Nothing is deleted until you confirm it in the iOS prompt.
- You are responsible for what you choose to delete or compress. Please review each list before you confirm.
- Deleted items go to Recently Deleted in the Photos app for 30 days. After that, iOS removes them permanently and they cannot be recovered by us or by Apple.
- With iCloud Photos turned on, a delete on one device removes the item on all devices that use the same library.
- Keep a backup of photos that matter to you. Sappari is not a backup service.
Free and Pro
The free version scans your whole library, shows every result, and lets you delete or compress up to 50 items a day, plus one full shoot cleanup. Sappari Pro removes the daily limit. Pro is available as:
- Pro yearly: $24.99 per year, an auto-renewing subscription that starts with a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers.
- Pro monthly: $4.99 per month, an auto-renewing subscription.
- Pro lifetime: $39.99 once, a one-time purchase that does not renew.
Prices are in US dollars. The App Store shows the price in your country and currency, including any taxes, before you confirm.
Subscriptions
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase.
- If you start the free trial, you are charged the yearly price when the trial ends, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
- Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings: open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription or the lifetime purchase.
- If a subscription price changes, Apple tells you in advance and, where the law or Apple's rules require it, asks for your consent before the new price applies.
Refunds
All payments are made to Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies. You can ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds or see your payment details ourselves. Nothing in these terms limits refund rights you have under the consumer law of your country.
Using Sappari
We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Sappari on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the Standard EULA. Please do not copy, resell, reverse engineer or misuse the app, or try to unlock Pro without paying. The Sappari name, icon and app are ours; your photos are, and remain, yours.
No warranty
We work hard to make Sappari careful and accurate, but suggestions can be wrong, and the app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. We do not promise that Sappari will free a particular amount of space or work without interruption.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for photos or videos you chose to delete or compress, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Sappari in the 12 months before the claim. Some countries do not allow these limits, in which case they apply only as far as permitted.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms as Sappari changes. We will post the new version here with a new date, and continuing to use the app means you accept it. You can stop using Sappari at any time by deleting it; remember to cancel any subscription in your Apple ID settings too, because deleting the app does not cancel it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without taking away the protection of mandatory consumer laws in the country where you live.
